Role Description
Venesco LLC is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the Department of the Interior ITSS BERT Program. As the Senior Software Engineer you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain ongoing support of the BERT application
- Provide technical guidance to a team of Programmer Analysts
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure work is completed in satisfactory and timely manner
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in system design, development and maintenance
- Seven (7) or more years Federal accounting systems experience
- Working knowledge of the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) accounts (specifically the budgetary general ledger accounts (400 series))
- Working knowledge of Treasury’s SF 133 crosswalks
- Public Trust Clearance eligibility
