Role Description
We are looking for an engaged and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Communication Platform department and be part of the Number Management team. You will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features that add customer value.
- Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers
- Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules
- Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems
- Review, update, refactor, and debug code
- Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients
- Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability
- Mentor team members
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of experience in backend development with preferably a typed language (Typescript/Node.js, Java, C#) with a focus on delivering for scalability, availability, security, and performance
- At least 2+ years of experience working on frontend applications, preferably with React, but experience with Angular is also valued
- Experience with serverless architectures, microservices, or distributed systems
- Extensive experience with AWS in a production environment and understanding how to design for, deploy on, and get the best out of the environment and services provided by Amazon
- Ability to discuss AWS offerings, when to use them, and how, and explain to junior engineers
- Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do
