Role Description
This role involves leading the development of a next-generation real-time simulation platform for power systems modeling and analysis.
- Define the vision & roadmap for a state-of-the-art real-time power systems simulation platform.
- Build & lead a high-caliber team to develop scalable, high-performance modeling and simulation solutions.
- Architect & implement a next-gen simulation engine with microsecond-level accuracy for complex power grids.
- Develop distributed simulation capabilities to handle large-scale, multi-domain power system scenarios.
- Collaborate with top-tier research institutions & industry leaders to align with the latest advancements.
- Drive innovation & quality through agile development and cutting-edge software engineering methodologies.
- Represent the company globally at industry events, conferences, and professional forums.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 10+ years in industry or academia (with industrial collaborations).
- Expertise in real-time simulation, power systems modeling, HIL methodologies, and distributed computing.
- Strong background in high-performance computing (HPC), parallel/distributed processing, and software architecture.
- Proven leadership: Experience managing and mentoring multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Track record of delivering high-impact technological innovations in energy, power systems, or industrial simulation.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Experience with power electronics, renewable energy modeling, and smart grids.
- Knowledge of international power system simulation standards.
- Expertise in building strategic partnerships with industry and academia.
