Role Description
AdMedia is currently seeking a motivated Senior LAMP Developer to manage existing websites as well as develop new features and maintain tools and systems. Our ideal candidate is someone with at least 5 years of experience developing websites. This position requires the ability to plan, multi-task, and follow through on projects. Responsibilities include site operations support and the ongoing development and maintenance of web content.
- Expert in hand-coding with PHP, MySQL, Agile, AJAX, Flash, XML, Perl, and Shell scripting
- Shift Timing - 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM for Scrum Meeting, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM IST
Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years working experience in Online Search Advertising code environment
- Master's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering is preferred
- Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, XML, Apache and Linux servers along with front-end development using Javascript, jQuery, and other libraries
- Knowledge of design patterns, composition, and object-oriented development
- Experience working with APIs, both integrating a third-party API and creating your own when necessary (Oath, Facebook, Twitter, Google API experience preferred), integrating PHP into a full-stack environment
- Ability to build custom REST APIs, and write JS/HTML/CSS
- Experience designing relational databases and queries
- Experience in Memcache, Redis or similar caching technology
- Advanced knowledge of building Content Management Systems, either from your own design or from frameworks using CodeIgniter
- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- 24/7 on-call for emergency response, disaster recovery
