Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Dealer Performance Management and Pricing Team in our Berlin office, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. We work hybrid with a few days in the office and some days remote.
About the team: Our team at mobile.de develops tools and features to provide our dealers with clear, relevant data, helping them optimize pricing and performance according to their needs. We are a diverse and passionate team of backend engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and a UX designer, collaboratively building both frontend and backend solutions.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and pair programming, promoting our team review culture.
- Take ownership of testing (both manual and automated).
- Design and improve backend architecture, with a focus on microservices and distributed systems.
- Maintain a high-level understanding of the team’s software architecture and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Contribute to product development by sharing ideas, recommending solutions, and collaborating with other stakeholders.
- Use both backend and frontend expertise to build scalable, maintainable end-to-end solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with 5+ years of experience in modern frontend development.
- Experience with React.js, Next.js, and other modern frontend architectures.
- Hands-on experience with CSS-in-JS frameworks and Figma.
Requirements
- Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes) and cloud services (Kafka) for scalable deployments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git Actions) and frontend testing frameworks.
- Comfortable working with Java 21 for backend development - SpringBoot, Maven.
- Experience with databases, MongoDB and Elastic Search.
- Over 5+ years hands-on experience with REST APIs.
