Role Description
As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying robust software solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality products that align with business goals. Your expertise will help shape the technical direction of multiple projects within our venture ecosystem.
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using modern frontend technologies
- Collaborate with designers to implement intuitive and aesthetically pleasing UI/UX
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and other services
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in frontend development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in building and deploying frontend web applications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Advanced knowledge of React, for building dynamic frontend applications
- Proficiency in crafting modern, responsive UI designs
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors
- Proficiency in Redux or context API for managing application state effectively
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Strong understanding of Git, Git Workflows, and branching strategies for version control
Requirements
- Experience with Next.js, including working with Vercel or Netlify
- Experience with Storybook for components testing
- Experience writing tests using popular test frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest)
- Previous experience working with AI tools for development acceleration
