Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building beautiful, performant user interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
- Work collaboratively with the product and design teams to create exceptional user experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Proven startup experience required, with preference for US-based startup experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex UI implementations and responsive designs
- Experience developing and shipping production applications at scale
- History of working in collaborative, cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Expert-level React knowledge including component architecture, performance optimization, and state management
- Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency with strong understanding of ES6+ features
- Experience designing and implementing comprehensive front-end testing strategies including unit, integration, and E2E testing
- Proficiency with CSS and modern styling approaches (Styled Components, CSS Modules, Tailwind)
- Experience with React Native and Expo for cross-platform mobile development (nice to have)
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and best practices
- Understanding of accessibility standards and implementation
- Experience with GraphQL or RESTful API integration
- Independent working style with ability to drive features from concept to completion
- Confidence in making technical decisions and proposing architectural improvements
- Demonstrated experience with agile, MVP-based approaches to software development
- Fast-paced work ethic balanced with attention to code quality and best practices
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to debug complex issues
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with designers and product team
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with front-end technologies
