Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. In this role you will be using Typescript, Electron, Node.js and React to work on io.Connect Desktop Product.
- Possess a passion for building user-friendly, high-performance applications and SDKs
- Play a key role in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of our software product
- Own your work - we value personal responsibility and trust our team members to get the job done
- Be very detail oriented - our software is complex with many features and behaviors
In this role you will also:
- Design and develop scalable applications using Typescript, Electron, React, and Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
- Ensure software reliability through regular code reviews
Qualifications
- Significant experience (typically 5+ years) as a Software Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React etc.)
- Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques
- Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git
Requirements
- Nice to have: Experience in developing desktop applications with Electron
- Knowledge of additional JavaScript frameworks and libraries
- Experience with native Windows application development, including Windows APIs and WPF
- Familiarity with developing applications on macOS
