Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer. As part of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing pipelines, transforming raw data, and setting up data lakes or lakehouses in Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in data-related technologies
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management abilities
- Effective mentoring and negotiation skills
- Robust technical support capabilities
Requirements
- Expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric
- Knowledge of data modeling (star/snowflake schema)
- Familiarity with Spark-based technologies (since Fabric supports Spark for lakehouse implementations)
- Proficiency in programming (Python, Scala, or SQL)
- Solid understanding of data fundamentals, including data transformations, exploratory analysis, data cleaning, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in database systems (e.g., SQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab)
- Working knowledge of development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Solid understanding of data testing practices (e.g., database querying, ensuring data integrity)
- Ability to work with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Aware of security protocols and standards (e.g., OWASP, OAuth)
