Role Description
This role involves contributing to the migration from Ruby to Java and developing the company's product further.
- Researching, designing, implementing and maintaining the new product’s backend (in Java ecosystem)
- Understanding and documenting the existing product (in Ruby on Rails)
- Finding ways for a reliable infrastructure/product, implementing and ensuring them
- Seeing yourself as a user and recommending improvements for the existing product
- Being part of developing the whole company culture and mindset
Qualifications
- Meaningful and solid experience with the Java environment (Ruby on Rails is a plus)
- Ability to contribute to the architectural and product decision process
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
