Role Description

This role involves working as an SAP Transportation Management Consultant with responsibilities in both functional and technical modules.

  • Facilitate the support and configuration of SAP TM module.
  • Good understanding in overall SAP S/4 HANA-TM shipper process.
  • Experience with XML message/Batch job monitoring, OTR, DTR, FUBR, Freight order management, Charge calculation, FSD and ISD posting.
  • Understanding of Purchase order, STO, Delivery integration to TM.
  • Responsible for requirement gathering from business, configuration, E2E testing, user training, and documentation.
  • Working knowledge in Reports/Enhancements.
  • Business Process Integration knowledge with MM and EWM Module.
  • Design, customize, configure, and test in TM module.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
  • Involvement in support & development activities with SAP best practices.
  • Knowledge in handling support ticketing tools and managing deliverables within defined timelines.
  • Analyze functional and technical needs and identify gaps and alternative solutions.
  • Work as a team member in distinct phases of Support activities.
  • Good written communication skills to communicate complex technical topics.
  • Good to have SAP Certification in SAP TM module.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
  • Experience with TM Module of Min 3+ Years.
  • Valuable experience in user interaction and expectations.
  • Effective communication skills.

Requirements

  • Good exposure in BOPF, FPM and POWL Query.
  • Core ABAP, OO-ABAP, CDS Views / AMDPs and Newer ABAP syntaxes (7.5).
  • Knowledge on ALE/IDOC, Proxy, Web-service and Workflow.
  • Expertise in Data Dictionary, Dialog programming, RFC, Conversion, ALV, Enhancement (Implicit, Explicit, User-exits and BADIs), Smart Forms, Adobe forms and WebDynPro.
  • Good knowledge of OData Service, Webservice, RFC and IDOC.
  • Very Good communication skills to interact with the client.
