Role Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with a strong background in core EWM concepts and SAP migration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in a brownfield migration project from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring a smooth transition and optimization of warehouse management processes.
- Lead and participate in all phases of the SAP EWM implementation and migration lifecycle.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA.
- Support the brownfield migration project by analyzing current warehouse processes and mapping them to S/4HANA.
- Configure and customize Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes, RF Framework, and Warehouse Automation.
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to resolve complex warehouse management challenges.
- Develop and document functional and technical specifications for system enhancements.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide training and support to end-users and key stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP EWM production issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and drive continuous improvements in warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse and logistics workflows.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in SAP EWM implementation, configuration, and support.
- Strong expertise in SAP EWM core functionalities, including Inbound, Outbound, Internal Movements, Physical Inventory, RF, and Labor Management.
- Proven experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM-MFS (Material Flow System) and Warehouse Automation.
- Experience with Handling Unit Management (HUM), Batch Management, and Serial Number Management.
- Strong understanding of SAP EWM integration with MM, SD, and TM modules.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori apps for warehouse management.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance optimization in SAP EWM.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating with global teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in Advanced Production Integration (PMR, Staging, Kitting).
- Exposure to SAP EWM-Embedded vs. Decentralized EWM.
- Knowledge of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) integration.
- SAP EWM certifications.
