Role Description

The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP ABAP solutions, including Fiori and Gateway development.

Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying and resolving application issues.
Develop technical specifications and translate business requirements into high-quality SAP ABAP solutions.
Work on SAP Fiori and Gateway development, ensuring smooth integration with SAP systems.
Perform coding, debugging, testing (unit/system/integration), and performance tuning.
Conduct performance optimization and ensure SAP scalability, availability, and archiving meet SLA requirements.
Work closely with functional teams, architects, and business analysts to deliver efficient solutions.
Provide on-call operational support and manage system changes effectively.
Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring knowledge-sharing and best practices.
Follow Agile methodologies and ServiceNow ticketing system for project execution.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills in SAP ABAP.
1+ year of SAP Fiori development experience (mandatory).
Hands-on experience in SAP Gateway development and integration.
Strong communication, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
Experience in Retail industry, SAP HCP, or Java development is a plus.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
Experience working with Agile methodologies and ServiceNow for support management.
