Role Description
This role focuses on designing highly complex integrated photonic circuits and validating performance.
- Integrated Photonic Component/Circuit Design, Simulation and Optimization
- Statistical data analysis and validation of device and circuit performance
- Photonic circuit layout and tapeout support
- Nonlinear optics simulation and analysis
- Working closely with product team to support in building a photonic quantum system
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- 5 years of relevant work or academic research experience in integrated photonics
- Strong background in photonic device principles and modeling skills
- Experience on photonics integrated circuit layout with open source or commercial tools
- Fluency in diverse photonic device simulation, data processing tools and programming language like Python
- Understanding of Nonlinear optical process such as spontaneous four-wave mixing
