Role Description

Collaborate with existing Pega Engineer to understand the current applications and manage development efforts of new use cases and unit testing
Act as point of contact for the Dev-Ops team, advising on on-prem infrastructure queries and assisting with version upgrades and security patches
Business liaison with the Operations team, using previous experience and expertise to solution existing problems and putting forward recommendations in reference to business improvements, then building these updated workflows
Ongoing monitoring of the Production environment and working with the Production support team to resolve production issues and ensure performance monitoring is reviewed
Develop and foster Pega technical skills and knowledge amongst a core group of users to increase sustainability and to elicit practical solutions for business-wide problems
Review new Pega versions for new functionality which may be suitable to support the growth of our business and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders, then build these new workflows

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of Pega 8
Deep experience in building workflows in the Pega platform
Ability to review and optimise existing Pega workflows
Certified SSA or LSA with a demonstrable proven record of 6 years+ of experience
Experience with API integration (SOAP & REST) and messaging services such as Kafka
Practical experience with Pega version upgrades and associated testing methodologies
Effective communications skills with the ability to provide clear messaging to senior managers whilst also working with more junior team members
A collaborative mindset, with a proactive approach to working within and across teams
Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and On Prem Pega hosting
Financial services knowledge including Custody Banking, Swift Messaging and Security Services
Proficient knowledge of Jira and Confluence
