Role Description
At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Java Developer to join our team in Colombia. You will play a key role in building innovative solutions within our collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.
As a Mid-Level Java Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems using Java and modern frameworks. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure robust, efficient, and high-performing solutions aligned with CI&T’s commitment to innovation and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Java and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions and implement project requirements.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate with global teams.
Qualifications
Nice-to-have Skills
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD processes.
