Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric Sr Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for the design, development, and implementation of scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Lead the design and development of advanced analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, ensuring they meet business needs and performance standards.
- Develop and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines to streamline data processing and integration, ensuring efficient data flow across systems.
- Create SQL and Python scripts to automate data processes, enhancing analytical capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of data solutions, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data architecture and analytics, applying this knowledge to enhance our solutions.
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Server On-Prem and SSIS as a source to pull data, ensuring robust data management practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in data architecture, design, and development using Microsoft Fabric and Azure platform services.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- Expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including its architecture and capabilities for building scalable data solutions.
- Proficient in Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Data Engineering, and Azure Synapse Data Warehouse.
- Solid experience in data architecture principles, including data modeling and database design.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, builds, and releases.
- Strong skills in database design and management, particularly with SQL Server.
