Role Description
The Credit Risk Technology Team is responsible for delivering Counterparty Credit Risk Management software solutions to Citi’s Risk organization and RWA integrity team for regulatory reporting.
- Manage Citi’s exposure to financial institutions, governments, and corporates that trade with Citi.
- Build and maintain software used to compute metrics that help mitigate Citi’s exposure to counterparty default.

Key metrics include:
- Collateral Allocation for Portfolios
- Haircut for Security and Cash Collateral
- Collateral Concentration Levels and Wrong Way Risk
- Pre-settlement exposure
- Exposure At Default
- Risk weighted assets
The successful candidate will learn and develop in Java and J2EE software applications which comply with written and verbally agreed specifications, to agreed timescales and to agreed quality criteria.
- Work as part of a small team and report regularly to the relevant Team Leader on progress and issues arising.
Qualifications
- Education: BE, ME, M Tech, B Tech
- Experience: 4-8 years
Requirements
- Object Oriented Design skills
- Solid Knowledge of Core Java, J2EE
- Core Java: Threading, Collections, Synchronization, Locking, annotations, Generics
- Spring Core, Batch
- Able to write SQL Queries and Analyze data
- Good knowledge of design patterns
- UML Modeling Diagram
- Application/Web server experience
- Build scripts like Ant, Maven
- Use any IDE as development environment
- Work to agreed deadlines as part of the remote development environment
- Manage and deliver in the continuously changing requirements
- Experience of working co-operatively in small to medium sized teams
- Be proactive and self-motivated
- Be passionate about Java, J2EE technology environment
- Good problem solver
- Present documentation as proof of meeting these requirements
