Role Description

In this role, you will be part of our IT team in Logistics & Disposition at our modern headquarters in Berlin, working closely with colleagues and internal and external partners.

  • Support and further develop logistics-related business processes with a focus on SAP ERP and the industry solution SAP Waste and Recycling (IS-U-WA).
  • Act as the primary contact for relevant departments, IT service partners, and within your own business area regarding the technical support and further development of our SAP ERP.
  • Analyze and optimize logistical customer requirements and business processes, develop solutions, and be responsible for the follow-up of implemented solution scenarios.
  • Create or manage the creation of technical requirement specifications and define prerequisites for implementation in close coordination with relevant departments and IT service partners.
  • Work on projects to optimize relevant logistical business processes related to the above solutions.
  • Actively contribute to the digitization of our services and ensure smooth operation in conjunction with all other upstream ALBA IT systems and technical interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Completed business or technical studies with a focus on (business) informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • Solid SAP knowledge in the context of logistical processes in SAP solutions (preferably with modules IS-U-WA, SD, MM, PM) and ideally basic knowledge in ABAP.
  • Ideally, industry knowledge from logistics or waste management.
  • Goal-oriented and solution-oriented working style with a structured approach.
  • Ability to work independently, high commitment, and strong assertiveness.
  • Pragmatic approach to tasks, flexibility in adapting to new requirements, and maintaining focus on goals even in challenging situations.
  • Fluency in German; occasional communication with English-speaking IT service partners should not be a barrier.
