Role Description

The Digital Workplace Engineer plays a critical role in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and end-user satisfaction across the organization’s workplace environment. This position requires a leader with the technical expertise, strategic vision, and executional capability to deliver world-class digital workplace solutions. The role is vital in ensuring seamless collaboration, productivity enhancement, and the highest security standards for our multi-regional teams.

Spearhead the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of workplace software and hardware solutions.
Work with global, regional, and local teams to align operational capabilities with overarching corporate strategies.
Architect and optimize end-user resources (hardware, software, and access), focusing on auditing, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Microsoft productivity tools, including Office 365 services.
Drive operational excellence in end-user asset management through automation, rigorous security, and auditing practices.
Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical issues within Microsoft Workplace applications, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Monitor performance metrics, provide actionable insights through advanced reporting, and implement optimization initiatives.
Develop and execute impactful training programs to empower employees in advanced workplace tool usage.
Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate transformative solutions to enhance organizational productivity.
Strategically manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of premium services.
Standardize and refine documentation of workplace processes at the regional level, contributing to global operational frameworks.
Guide countries in implementing workplace strategies, co-developing tailored solutions aligned with organizational standards.
Champion ITIL processes across service management activities and enforce adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in workplace engineering, managing complex, multi-regional environments, with a demonstrated success in delivering impactful solutions.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 productivity tools, endpoint management solutions (Intune, Tanium preferred), ITIL v4 frameworks, and scripting for process automation.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams across geographies.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, driving innovation and challenging the status quo to achieve business objectives.
Thrive in dynamic, multicultural environments with a relentless commitment to client satisfaction and operational excellence.
Proven ability to manage initiatives from conception to execution, delivering measurable outcomes on time and within budget.

Requirements

Expert-level experience managing Microsoft 365 tools, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
Advanced endpoint management capabilities, with Intune expertise required and Tanium experience considered a plus.
Mastery of ITSM workflows and tools, particularly ServiceNow, for seamless incident, problem, and change management.
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, patch management, endpoint security, and data protection regulations.
Extensive experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Power Automate) to optimize workplace processes.
Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, secure end-user deployments.
