Role Description
The Delivery Operations team needs a Senior Engineer to develop and support our client's delivery systems. The initial focus will be learning to support an AWS Kubernetes-based application. Once that knowledge transfer is complete, you will develop and support future versions. Support includes working with both internal and external customers.
This position requires strong AWS full-stack development skills and some customer support experience.
- Learn and support an AWS Kubernetes-based application
- Develop and support future versions of the application
- Work closely with both internal and external customers
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience in Angular and backend such as ExpressJS, NodeJS core modules
- Strong experience/understanding of Kafka
- Strong programming & scripting experience using TypeScript, JavaScript, Restful API services, Webhooks
- Experience in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis etc.
- Good experience in cloud services such as AWS
- Critical Technology Proficiency: Senior
- Preferred Technology Versions: Latest
- Nice to have: Moderate experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab
- Knowledge of Lens or Terraform
- Thorough understanding of Agile principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional team player who works well in collaborative situations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, willing to take up complex challenges and triage environmental issues
