Role Description

This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure as well as optimizing deployment processes.

Design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS using Docker, ECS, Lambda, IAM, Control Tower, CloudWatch, and other AWS technologies.
Manage and optimize deployment pipelines with GitHub, Terraform, and Atlassian tools.
Develop automated tools for monitoring cloud and service health.
Monitor system performance, anticipate potential issues, and implement direct solutions.
Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to align cloud infrastructure with strategic business goals.
Integrate third-party services and streamline service workflows.
Enforce best practices in cloud security and infrastructure compliance.
Participate in on-call rotations, responding to system alerts and incidents promptly.
Maintain documentation of cloud architectures, service configurations, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, services engineering, or a similar role in a cloud-based environment.
Proven expertise with AWS cloud services, Terraform, GitHub, and related technologies.
Hands-on experience with AWS networking best practices and technology including ALBs, ELBs, Transit Gateways, VPCs, NATs, and Security Groups.
Deep understanding of overall cloud architecture principles, service integration, CI/CD/CO, and incident management.
Hands-on experience with GitHub and Atlassian tools in managing deployments and operations.
Strong scripting and automation skills to streamline cloud operations and service delivery.
Experience developing web services in a programming language like TypeScript, C#, Java, or Go.
C1 English level (spoken & written).
