Role Description

As a member (m/f/d) of senior management at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation, you will be responsible for the field of vehicle-related software development (business stream car embedded on/off board) in terms of both disciplinary and business management aspects.

  • Develop a future-proof departmental strategy
  • Integrate modern technologies
  • Clarify objectives and cooperation models
  • Work closely with business partners (m/f/d) and adjacent streams
  • Drive incremental and radical technological progress for Mercedes-Benz AG
  • Position Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation as the leading technological experts in various fields
  • Represent Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation and Home of Tech within Mercedes-Benz AG
  • Contribute to groundbreaking technology decisions

Qualifications

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in IT-specific corporate roles
  • Extensive managerial experience in an international context
  • Practical experience in software development in modern organizations
  • In-depth knowledge of business fundamentals of business management
  • Know-how in at least one key area such as autonomous driving, cloud platforms, control unit development, infotainment & UI, KI-supported development environments, Electric Charging Experience & Vehicle2Grid, Over-the-Air Software updates, Connectivity or Ideas & Innovative Knowledge
  • Modern leadership and results-oriented mindset
  • Open personality to inspire and empower teams
  • Willingness to travel to tech hubs in Malaysia, Turkey, Spain, and India
  • Business-level written and spoken German and English
