Role Description
Spiria is seeking a Bilingual Senior Support Developer to join our Applications Managed Services (AMS) team. This role goes beyond coding—you will act as a trusted technical advisor for our clients, managing post-production maintenance, development, and support in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Collaborate directly with clients to review, discuss and resolve technical issues across multiple projects daily
- Write, modify, review, optimize, and debug code across various technologies
- Assist in testing and quality control activities
- Manage and resolve client support cases, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Document and communicate incremental product improvements to enhance client applications
- Maintain clear, concise, and professional communication with clients and internal teams
- Display flexibility and good judgment, shifting between multiple technologies and clients throughout the day
- Self-manage time and priorities, balancing client requests with internal initiatives such as backlog work, app documentation, and skill development
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on client-facing collaboration
- Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) – this is essential for client communication
- A strong understanding of business needs, enabling you to bridge the gap between technical solutions and client goals
- Professional programming experience in at least two or more of the following languages: JavaScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, Java, Objective-C, C#, Kotlin, Swift, etc.
- Independence and problem-solving skills—you’re resourceful, adaptable, and proactive
- A collaborative mindset, contributing to team success while working autonomously
- Strong communication and planning skills, ensuring clarity and efficiency in client interactions
Requirements
- Bilingualism is essential for this role. The person in this position will need to collaborate with internal and external clients across North America in both French and English for all their tasks
