Role Description
As a Backend Developer at Luscii, you will be responsible for developing new and updating existing projects and recommending scalable solutions. Your role will involve:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining systems, requiring expertise in various technologies and methodologies.
- Defining technical approaches, documenting solutions, and collaborating with multiple teams to scope and implement features.
- Tackling complex technical challenges, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Writing clean, maintainable code that meets industry standards and improving code quality through testing and reviews.
- Contributing ideas to technology, algorithms, and product development.
- Managing the full software lifecycle from development to deployment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues efficiently.
- Mentoring and supporting team members to achieve goals together.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 5+ years of programming experience in building and working on large scale distributed systems, with a minimum of 3 years of experience with Node.js
- Several years of experience with AWS Serverless services
- Experience with React.js workflows, such as Flux or Redux and Responsive web design
- Hands-on experience building infrastructure as code using YAML / CloudFormation / Terraform / GitHub
- Developing microservices and distributed systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data and resolve issues
- Experience with agile development methodologies and excellent debugging and optimization skills
