Role Description
We’re looking for a skilled AWS Data Engineer with strong experience in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud services to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with Lambda, data pipelines, and cloud-based reporting solutions, and will be comfortable working in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Data Engineer or similar roles
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
- Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop is a plus
- Working knowledge of databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle
- Exposure to Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI is desirable
- Understanding of investment products (Equities, Futures, FX, Fixed Income, Swaps, etc.) is preferred
- Familiarity with platforms like Bloomberg, FactSet, or Aladdin is a plus
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles
- Solid experience with AWS services
- B2+ English proficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Automate and manage data flows for portfolio analytics systems
- Design and implement new reports for multiple stakeholders using various development tools
- Ensure timely delivery of data across platforms in collaboration with internal teams
- Support and enhance existing data processes and codebases
- Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation across systems
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in data architecture and reporting capabilities
