Role Description
This role involves working as a full-time AI Automation Engineer to help build smart systems that streamline our supply chain.
- Map and understand our complete supply chain lifecycle
- Build and deploy tools to automate procurement, inventory tracking, reporting, logistics, etc.
- Develop AI-powered assistants or agents to help the team with daily decisions and insights
- Create automated dashboards, alerts, and reports for supply chain visibility
- Integrate with external vendor systems and logistics platforms via APIs
- Enable real-time or scheduled communications (Slack, WhatsApp, Email, etc.)
- Make data easily accessible to the physical operations team
Qualifications
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience with API integration, automation workflows, and data handling
- Familiarity with AI tools like OpenAI (GPT), LangChain, or Hugging Face
- Understanding of supply chain/logistics workflows (especially helpful if related to India-Canada trade)
- Independent, reliable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Clear English communication skills (written + spoken)
Requirements
- Prior experience with Indian supplier networks or import/export data (bonus)
- Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier, Make, Retool, or Streamlit (bonus)
- Experience with Google Sheets/Excel automation (bonus)
- Frontend knowledge for building simple dashboards (bonus)
- Comfortable working with WhatsApp Business API or Slack integrations (bonus)
