Role Description
The App Developer will design, build, and maintain our mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms with a strong focus on camera integration, ARKit (3D face analysis), and Bluetooth connectivity. This role is vital for creating seamless user experiences and delivering our core product offerings directly to users' devices as we scale our digital presence and prepare for Series A funding.
- Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift
- Implement advanced camera functionality and image processing
- Integrate ARKit for 3D face analysis applications
- Build and manage Bluetooth connectivity features for device communication
- Create cross-platform applications using React Native
- Implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces following design specifications
- Integrate mobile frontends with backend APIs and services
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and offline capabilities
- Implement analytics, monitoring, and crash reporting
- Collaborate with design and product teams to refine user experiences
- Maintain app store presence and manage the release process
- Stay current with mobile development best practices and platform updates
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in iOS development with Swift Software Engineering
- Demonstrated experience with camera APIs and image processing
- Hands-on experience with ARKit and 3D face analysis
- Experience implementing Bluetooth connectivity in mobile applications
- Knowledge of React Native for cross-platform development
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services
- Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns
- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and methodologies
- Experience with app store submission and distribution processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex mobile issues
- Understanding of mobile security best practices
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Requirements
- Experience integrating AI and ML features into mobile applications
- Knowledge of Android native development with Kotlin/Java
- Understanding of mobile accessibility guidelines
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines
- Background working in a startup environment
