Role Description

As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing.

  • Design, code, and test software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations.
  • Analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications.
  • Take ownership and consistently deliver quality work that drives value for clients.
  • Build a brand for yourself within the Firm, opening doors to more opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree and/or 5 years Equivalent Experience

Requirements

  • Demonstrates abilities solutioning the Guidewire Suite of applications on premises and SaaS.
  • Proven success executing all aspects of complex engagements within the Guidewire product suite achieving on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Demonstrates abilities providing solution strategy and Application Evolution Services (AES) delivery as a Senior Guidewire Developer.
  • Ability to navigate both business processes and enterprise solution perspectives at a high level.
  • Experience developing scalable and robust Guidewire Solution Strategies in a hybrid IT landscape.
  • Proven record of success in developing new market-differentiated Guidewire solutions.
  • Ability to assist clients in the support of Guidewire Suite solutions and improving business processes.
  • Experience identifying and addressing client needs by developing and sustaining impactful client relationships.
  • Ability to prepare and present complex written and verbal materials.
  • Experience working with global teams to achieve organizational vision.
  • Ability to deliver and review deliverables ensuring compliance with defined processes.
  • Comfortable during periods of instability with client's Guidewire solution and escalations.
