Role Description
The Vice President, Investor Relations (VP, IR) is the senior executive responsible for shaping and leading Kinaxis’ global capital markets strategy, investor engagement model, and disclosure governance as a publicly traded SaaS organization.

Partner with the CFO and CEO to develop, articulate, and continuously refine a clear, differentiated, and durable equity story aligned to Kinaxis’ long-term strategy and value creation priorities.

Translate business strategy and operating performance into investor-relevant drivers and outcomes, including key SaaS metrics and forward-looking value levers.

Own and evolve the Investor Relations strategy and annual operating plan, including investor targeting, engagement cadence, and conference participation.

Advise the Executive Team and Board on valuation, market expectations, shareholder composition, peer positioning, and investor sentiment.

Build and maintain strong relationships with buy-side and sell-side analysts, institutional investors, proxy advisors, and other key market stakeholders.

Lead investor roadshows, conferences, investor days, and strategic investor meetings; ensure senior leader preparedness and message alignment.

Oversee investor targeting, shareholder analysis, and perception measurement activities; translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Monitor market trends, macroeconomic conditions, competitor activity, and industry developments; provide regular insights and executive-ready briefings to leadership and the Board.

Lead end-to-end quarterly earnings preparation and execution, including messaging, scripts, Q&A, investor presentations, press releases, and analyst engagement.

Establish and maintain rigorous disclosure governance and controls to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant communications across jurisdictions.

Draft and oversee preparation of investor materials and public documents and maintain an enterprise-wide review and approval process for external-facing IR content.

Partner cross-functionally across Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications, Risk & Sustainability, and HR to ensure integrated, consistent messaging.

Support preparation of the Annual Report, MD&A inputs, earnings materials, AGM materials, and other required disclosures.

Partner with the CFO and Executive Team on capital allocation communications, financing activities, and corporate development initiatives, including M&A-related messaging.

Provide a capital markets perspective during strategic transactions and periods of heightened market sensitivity.

Lead investment community communications during material events or crisis situations in partnership with Legal and Corporate Communications.

Own and manage the IR function end-to-end, including budget, external advisors, perception study partners, and IR service providers; build scalable processes aligned with the company’s growth trajectory.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent designation is an asset.

10+ years of progressive experience in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or capital markets, with meaningful exposure to global, publicly traded technology/SaaS environments.

Demonstrated ability to own an IR program end-to-end and operate as a senior advisor to the CFO/CEO and Board.

Deep understanding of SaaS KPIs, valuation frameworks, and the drivers of long-term multiple expansion and credibility.

Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. securities regulations, disclosure governance, and compliance requirements; experience supporting multi-jurisdictional disclosure environments.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; experienced in earnings preparation and external communications for a public company, and experience and comfort delivering the corporate story in group and individual meetings.

Strong analytical capability, including comfort with financial models and investor/analyst valuation methodologies.

Executive presence and proven ability to engage effectively with senior executives, Boards of Directors, and sophisticated institutional investors.

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive alignment in a matrixed environment.

M&A and capital markets transaction experience.
