Role Description
We are looking for a self-motivated professional to pursue new defined contribution plan sales opportunities in the Mid-Market segment ($150MM-$1B). As a Vice President of Sales, this individual will be responsible for:

Identifying, pursuing, and selling to retirement plan prospects with an emphasis on Mid-Market ($150m-$1b plans).

Working within a team structure to identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key prospects, advisors, and consultants.

Developing and managing a sales opportunity pipeline.

Playing a lead role in managing the sales process for all assigned sales opportunities.

Providing all required and requested documentation for active sales opportunities.

Collaborating with internal business partners in pursuit of new business.

Coaching and mentoring selling team members for optimum presentation and sales effectiveness.

Negotiating services with consultants and plan sponsors.
-
Understanding and communicating the breadth of Schwab services.

Identifying leads for other Schwab business lines (i.e., Stock Plan Services).

Achieving monthly territory development activity goals.

Maintaining current and accurate data in Salesforce.

Providing timely updates to Sales management and Retirement Plan Services leadership upon request.
This position is eligible for remote work but should reside within the territory (Northeast Region).
Qualifications

Bachelorโs degree or equivalent experience; may have postgraduate and/or certification.

Series 7 and 63 licenses (can be obtained through a condition of employment).

Qualified and non-qualified plan marketplace knowledge and competitor insight.

Experience with Salesforce CRM.
