Role Description
The Vice President, Health Plan Sales is a quota-carrying hunter responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities across both new and existing health plan and payor clients. This individual-contributor role owns an annual sales target of $3-5M, identifying and closing new, incremental opportunities β additional products, lines of business, or use cases β within Centauri's existing health plan accounts and built by prospecting new-logo Tier 1 health plans.
-
This is a true hunter position, not an account-management role.
-
The VP is measured on new opportunities identified and closed, whether the buyer is a brand-new health plan or a current Centauri client.
-
Success depends on independently building and managing a pipeline that spans both fronts, running discovery, and leading each deal through proposal, pricing, contracting, and close.
-
The VP will sell across Centauri's full product portfolio β powered by the Claros platform.
-
Translate each plan's priorities (revenue optimization, quality, risk adjustment, eligibility, retention, member engagement, and interoperability) into a multi-solution value proposition.
-
The successful candidate will bring an established network in the health plan market, a disciplined and repeatable prospecting motion, and the ability to partner with the Head of Health Plan Sales, Client Success, and other cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
-
7β10+ years of proven hunter sales experience selling healthcare technology, data/analytics, or services to health plans or payors.

-
