Role Description
The Vice President, Sales, Health Navigation role is responsible for building high-performing teams, fostering executive client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and achieving revenue objectives. This leader will drive profitable growth, lead strategic sales initiatives, and serve as a key member of the leadership team focused on expanding Alight's Health Navigation business.
Responsibilities

Leverage leadership experience in the Healthcare Navigation space or closely related areas such as Benefits Administration, Consumer Experience, or Healthcare Services.

Demonstrated success partnering and negotiating with payers (health plans, health systems, IDNs, employers), distribution channels (benefit consultants, TPAs, disease management organizations, and strategic partners), and providers.

Deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs) including bookings, expansion revenue, retention, pipeline generation, and overall sales growth.

Lead solution-selling initiatives, channel strategies, broker engagement, alliance partnerships, and sales talent development.

Manage revenue performance against annual goals while maintaining quarterly forecasting accuracy and revenue linearity.

Develop and execute sales strategies that drive new client acquisition, expansion opportunities, and long-term market growth.

Retain and expand strategic client relationships while maintaining a strong understanding of competitive offerings and market dynamics.

Communicate the value of Alight's Health Navigation, Benefits Administration, Absence Management, and related solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.

Monitor pipeline health, renewals, and expansion opportunities across the strategic account portfolio.

Ensure account planning, renewal strategies, retention plans, and executive engagement models are in place.

Serve as a mentor and coach to sales leaders and sellers, supporting career development, succession planning, and performance management.

Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier sales talent to support continued business growth.

Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Consulting Relations, Operations, and Executive Leadership to execute go-to-market strategies and drive market success.
Qualifications

15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within Healthcare Navigation, Benefits Administration, HR Technology, Healthcare Services, or related industries.

Proven ability to inspire teams and influence cross-functional organizations in support of strategic business objectives.

Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales organizations and delivering consistent revenue growth.

Experience managing large strategic client portfolios exceeding $130M in annual recurring revenue.

Strong forecasting discipline and expertise managing revenue performance against growth targets.

Exceptional capabilities in sales methodology, pipeline management, strategic planning, and sales leadership.

Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills, including experience engaging C-suite stakeholders.

Broad business acumen with the ability to understand and influence Product Strategy, Go-to-Market Strategy, Financial Planning, Pricing, HR, Legal, and Operations.

Ability to travel approximately 10-25%, including occasional short-notice travel to support clients, sales pursuits, and team development.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
