Role Description

The Vertical Account Manager, Commercial Claims, is responsible for acquiring, growing, and retaining revenue within an assigned portfolio of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance carrier accounts. This strategic sales role focuses on:

• Developing strong customer relationships
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Expanding solution adoption
• Delivering measurable value to claims organizations

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience and a strong understanding of claims operations and workflows. Direct claims experience is highly desirable but not required.

Candidates must be able to engage credibly with claims leaders and understand the challenges, priorities, and operational processes that drive claims organizations.

You'll Be Responsible For:

• Meeting or exceeding monthly and annual revenue objectives through effective account planning, opportunity management, and execution of sales strategies.
• Developing and executing strategic account plans designed to protect existing revenue while identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including claims executives, claims operations leaders, SIU teams, technology leaders, and innovation stakeholders.
• Conducting discovery conversations to understand customer business objectives, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives.
• Identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.
• Managing customer retention plans and ensuring continued customer satisfaction and solution adoption.
• Developing gap analyses and account growth strategies to uncover incremental revenue opportunities.
• Collaborating with Product Solution Specialists, Implementation Managers, Sales Support, and other internal partners to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging challenges impacting commercial claims organizations.
• Effectively managing sales pipeline, forecasting, customer activity, and account planning within Salesforce and other sales tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• Proven success in a consultative sales, account management, or business development role.
• Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience required.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance claims processes, workflows, and operational challenges required.
• Direct claims experience is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent project management and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Ability to travel up to 30% as required.

• U.S. National Base Pay Range: $89,700 - $166,400.
• Total Target Cash Range: $138,000 - $256,000.
• Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

• Base Pay Range for MD is $94,100 - $174,700.
