[Hiring] Territory Sales Manager @Solenis

Role Description

At Solenis, we are looking for a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to lead and drive the growth of our Pool Solutions business unit. Operating as a key commercial lead and individual contributor, you will be directly responsible for expanding our market presence across Southwest France and Northwest Spain.

The scope of this role covers a broad and diverse sector environment including:

• Indoor/outdoor retail
• Specialist pool dealers
• Commercial and hospitality pool environments (e.g. campsites, leisure centres)

Your primary objective will be to combine a strong hunter mindset for new business development with managing and retaining our existing network of distributors and mass-market retail chains.

On an operational and store-level basis, you will ensure our products are displayed in an appealing, organised, and customer-focused manner to maximise sales. This may involve:

• Managing display setups
• Operating manual transport equipment (e.g. pallet jacks)
• Lifting/carrying stock (up to 25 kg)

The position also requires frequent travel and attendance at industry events, which may occasionally require working early mornings, weekends, or outside standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of successful field sales experience managing large geographical territories.
• Prior experience in the swimming pool sector (residential, commercial/hospitality, or mass market) and direct experience working with distributors or specialist dealer channels is highly valued.
• Languages:
  • French: Native or fluent (Mandatory).
  • English: Professional working proficiency / fluent (Mandatory – candidate must be comfortable conducting interviews and working in English).
  • Spanish: Conversational to fluent (Highly desirable for managing Northern Spain distribution).
• Must reside within the designated region — ideally in Southwest France (e.g. Bordeaux to Perpignan / Marseille) or Northwest Spain (e.g. San Sebastián / Basque Country).

Requirements

• Valid driving licence with ability to operate a motor vehicle and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and walk significant distances during trade shows and customer visits.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 kg and operate manual transport equipment (e.g. pallet jack).
• Flexibility to attend events outside standard business hours, including early mornings and/or weekends.
