[Hiring] Territory Sales Manager @Dixon Valve

Role Description

The Dixon Group is looking for a Midwest Territory Sales Manager to join our Outside Sales team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind growing sales and cultivating strong customer relationships for our Sanitary division across the Midwest. You will promote our broad product offerings, deliver market-based solutions, and provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.

• Maintain and aggressively grow customer relationships and sales programs within the assigned Midwest territory.
• Regularly visit and engage with distributors, end-users, engineering firms, and direct customers, planning weekly and monthly activities based on territory needs.
• Create and deliver compelling product presentations to distributors and end-users.
• Listen to and interpret customer needs to provide targeted sales solutions, keeping customers proactively informed about available services, supplies, pricing, and new product lines.
• Properly and consistently document all sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline updates in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of previous industrial sales experience is required. (Outside Sales, Technical Sales, or Territory Management experience preferred).
• Sales experience in the Sanitary, Food, Beverage, Dairy, or Pharmaceutical industries is highly preferred, specifically with fittings, valves, pumps, and/or filtration systems.
• Ability to think mechanically with a strong vision and understanding of how industrial equipment and systems work.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to establish and build lasting customer relationships.
• Self-starter and highly motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce).
• Ability to travel up to 50-65% of the time.
