We handle sales activities including new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, limited industry or product line within Alternate Site accounts.
Territory: NYC (5 boroughs), Long Island, Northern New Jersey
Preferred location to live: NYC or Long Island
What you'll be doing:

Responsible for achieving sales goals for Baxter’s product portfolio in the Territory.

Current products include but are not limited to Baxter’s Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, Pharma, and Fluid Therapy portfolios.

Implement sales strategies and execute business plan to achieve sales volume, product mix, and profit objectives.

Calls on alternate site customers including Home Infusion, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Consulting Pharmacy’s, Physician Offices, Oncology, and Distributors.

Delivers effective sales presentations, provides technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and education.

Works in close harmony with Virtual Sales, Infusion Systems, Pharmacy and Nutrition Specialist to achieve assigned goals and objectives.

Protect, service, and grow current base of business.

Responsible for managing and maximizing Baxter GPO contracts.

Serve as a resource for market information for management and marketing.
Qualifications

Clinical/Therapy Knowledge: Ability to learn and apply role-specific understanding of relevant specialty areas, therapies/surgical procedures, disease states, and clinical data.

Business Acumen: Understands business, industry, and marketplace, including competition.

Balances Stakeholders: Maintains current business and drives sustainable long-term sales growth.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.

Three years minimum sales experience; ideal candidates will have experience with medical sales working with distributors.

Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.

Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel.
Requirements

The estimated base pay range for this position is $96,000 - $120,000 annually.

Additional opportunity to earn sales incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.

Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
