Role Description
The National Sales Manager β Government, Utilities, & National Accounts is responsible for driving strategic growth and customer satisfaction across a national footprint. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with key decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, and aligning customer needs with innovative aftermarket solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep industry knowledge, key account relationships, strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering value through solution-based selling of mobile power equipment offerings.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-level relationships with senior decision-makers across strategic customer accounts.

Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities to expand market share and revenue.

Create demand for aftermarket products and services by elevating brand visibility and customer engagement.

Conduct regular strategy sessions with customer leadership to align solutions with evolving needs.

Collaborate with product and marketing teams to shape offerings based on market trends and customer feedback.

Maintain expert-level knowledge across all product categories and ensure team readiness through training and certification.

Drive pipeline development and forecasting to support sustainable growth targets.

Deliver detailed status reports and performance updates to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in strategic, solution-based sales, preferably in Government and Utility sectors; 8 Years min experience for a Level IV Account Manager.

Proven track record in new business development and account expansion.

Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) with the ability to influence and inspire.

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Comfortable working across time zones and flexible schedules to meet customer needs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
