[Hiring] Sponsorship Sales Development Representative @Product Marketing Alliance

Role Description

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in the US to support our Sponsorship Sales team, focusing on generating and qualifying leads across our events and digital sponsorship portfolio. This is a remote freelance/contract role , designed to expand our reach across US time zones and drive new business opportunities within North America.

You’ll play a key role in building pipeline, identifying target accounts, engaging decision-makers, and booking high-quality meetings for our senior sponsorship sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume outreach, fast-paced sales environments, and early-stage conversations that open doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Research and identify high-potential companies and decision-makers using LinkedIn, CRM data, and sales intelligence tools.
• Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn) to book qualified meetings for the sponsorship sales team.
• Qualification: Engage prospects through discovery calls to assess fit, needs, and timelines, qualifying opportunities for senior sales reps.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate records and notes in HubSpot, ensuring all leads and interactions are properly tracked and followed up.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with senior sponsorship executives and marketing to refine outreach messaging and target lists.
• Performance Goals: Consistently meet weekly and monthly KPIs for qualified meetings booked, outreach volume, and lead conversion.
• Market Awareness: Stay informed on key industry trends in SaaS, martech, and B2B events to better tailor outreach and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales development, lead generation, or outbound prospecting (B2B experience preferred).
• Comfortable working in a high-volume outreach environment with clear activity and performance targets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging US-based stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Smartlead, Aircall, or similar.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, able to perform in a remote, freelance setup with autonomy.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline effectively.
• A collaborative attitude, success at The Alliance is a team sport.

Requirements

• Remote (US-based), must work within US business hours.

• Clear KPIs and performance expectations.
• Base hourly/monthly rate & on-target earnings commission on all sales generated from meetings booked.
