[Hiring] Senior Specialist Sales Engineer @Zscaler

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Specialist Sales Engineer in Canada. This is a remote role, reporting to the Senior Manager of Solutions Consulting in the Zero Trust Branch department. The Speciality Sales team is a global group of professionals who are passionate about delighting our customers, nurturing trusted partnerships, and sharing their expertise to drive a secure, cloud-enabled digital future and further cement our position as the world leader in cloud security.

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes

Qualifications

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Solutions Architect
• Proven experience selling network security technologies (SD-WAN, routing protocols, SWG, routing, proxies, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPNs, DLP, and end-user monitoring)

Requirements

• Industry standard certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+
• Deep understanding of complex, multi-year sales cycles and expertise in value-based storytelling
• Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving, while applying sound technical judgment to validate outputs
• French fluency
