[Hiring] Senior Sales Manager @Hilton

Role Description

The Senior Leisure Sales Manager leads efforts to expand and strengthen the hotel's leisure market presence by developing strategic partnerships with Wholesale, Consortia, and Cruise Lines accounts. You will support the Hilton Caribe and report to the Director of Sales. Through proactive business development, customer engagement, contract negotiations, and industry networking, you will increase revenue while delivering exceptional service to clients. You will travel frequently to cultivate relationships, conduct presentations and site visits, host customer events, and showcase the property's unique offerings to prospective and existing partners.

What you'll do during a typical day:

• Solicit and uncover new business opportunities from US and international operators and travel professionals.
• Grow all accounts for Wholesale, Consortia and Cruise Lines.
• Monitor implementation of packages and offers and deploy partnerships.
• Foster relationships with agencies and individual agents to ensure ongoing communication of programs, promotions, packages, and services.
• Develop sales strategies and plan by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel and market trends.

How you'll collaborate with others:

• Partner with the Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Management to develop sales and pricing strategies aligned with market conditions and goals.
• Collaborate with the Hilton Worldwide Sales teams to identify opportunities, increase revenue, and enhance market reach.
• Develop a partnership with the Discover Puerto Rico Leisure Team to promote the destination and create business opportunities for the hotel.
• Collaborate with in-market multi-line representatives to increase hotel's visibility, cultivate client relationships, and support sales programs.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:

• Support leisure packages, offers and promotions together with the Revenue and Marketing Teams.
• Maintain customer databases; develop and implement e-marketing campaigns to promote hotel offerings, events, and property updates.
• Analyze and communicate marketing opportunities within the different accounts to secure participation in important campaigns.
• Host and direct on property Travel Partner FAM trips, site inspection and events to promote the facilities and services.
• Build additional projects and tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of hotel sales experience.
• Two (2) years of experience in leisure sales or retail travel sales.
• Travel up to 30% of the time nationally and internationally.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Local market knowledge.
• Experience with consortia and wholesale partners.
• Experience collaborating with other hotel/resort employees, managers and directors to ensure teamwork.
• Experience presenting strategic plans to senior executives and partner groups.
