Role Description
Weβre looking for a Sales Engineer with a strong cybersecurity and Application Security (AppSec) background to support the full technical sales cycle in a fast-paced startup environment. This role combines technical credibility with strong customer-facing communication skills, partnering closely with Account Executives to lead discovery sessions, deliver tailored demos, run lightweight POVs, and help security-focused buyers clearly understand the value of the platform. The environment is high-velocity and execution-focused, requiring the ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel while also helping build scalable and repeatable pre-sales processes as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle

Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects

Deliver customized demos aligned to customer use cases

Design and execute POVs with clear success criteria

Handle technical objections and security-related questions

Support RFP/RFI processes and security due diligence

Build reusable demo assets, templates, and talk tracks

Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share customer feedback

Ensure smooth handoff to implementation and Customer Success teams
Qualifications

3β5 years of experience in Sales Engineering / Solutions Engineering

Strong Application Security (AppSec) background
-
Ability to engage with technical security stakeholders (CISOs, security engineers)

Strong demo and technical storytelling capabilities

Ability to translate technical concepts into business value

Experience managing multiple deals or opportunities in parallel
Requirements

Hands-on experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS)

Exposure to penetration testing tools or offensive security concepts

Experience running POVs (Proof of Value), including scoping and execution

Experience answering technical RFPs / RFIs and security questionnaires

Direct experience with penetration testing
