[Hiring] Senior Sales Engineer @RHONDOS Inc

Role Description

We are hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to anchor our EMEA pre-sales function. You will own the full technical sales cycle — from discovery through proof of concept to close — for enterprise accounts across Europe. You bring deep SAP functional expertise, a consultative sales mindset, and the credibility to lead CxO-level conversations. You will also mentor junior SE team members and help shape how we approach pre-sales across the region. Experience range: 6–8 years.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer SAP landscapes, security posture, and compliance requirements
• Deliver tailored demonstrations of PowerConnect and the RHONDOS platform to both technical and executive audiences
• Develop and present proof-of-concept engagements, architecture proposals, and technical responses to RFPs
• Partner with account executives throughout the sales cycle as the primary technical voice
• Translate customer requirements into solution designs that map to RHONDOS capabilities
• Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customer IT, security, and SAP Basis teams
• Mentor junior Sales Engineers and contribute to SE playbooks, demo environments, and technical assets
• Provide market and competitive feedback to Product and Engineering teams
• Represent RHONDOS at regional SAP and cybersecurity events, conferences, and webinars
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services on smooth post-close handoffs

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or SAP consulting role
• Deep SAP functional expertise — 6+ years working with SAP security, GRC, Basis, or enterprise SAP platforms
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences
• Proven track record supporting complex enterprise sales cycles alongside account executives
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; German, French, Dutch, or other European languages a strong plus
• Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel
• Based anywhere in Europe — German-speaking regions (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) a plus

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with SAP Security, SAP GRC, or SAP Identity Management
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, security observability, or threat detection tools
• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring and analytics platforms
• Prior experience building or leading a pre-sales function in a startup or scale-up environment
• Knowledge of SAP BASIS, ABAP, or SAP cloud platforms such as BTP or S/4HANA

• Base Salary: €140,000 annually
• Variable/Commission: Up to €60,000 tied to quota attainment
