[Hiring] Senior Sales Engineer @Spang Power Electronics

Role Description

This position will design customized technical solutions to meet customer requirements and increase revenue & profitability for Magnetics in the European Market. This position will be remote and require traveling domestically and internationally as needed for customer visits, trade shows, and conferences up to 40%.

• Interface directly with customers to promote and sell Magnetics products.
• Design inductors and transformers to meet customer needs.
• Work with direct accounts and distributor sales teams to review sales plans and develop strategies that increase sales.
• Provide technical training and support to Magnetics Sales Engineers, Customer Service, and Distributor Sales Engineers.
• Create and execute business plans to grow Magnetics’ market share.
• Actively promote the Magnetics brand in new designs.
• Prepare and deliver sales and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and production to implement strategies.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality to address customer complaints and returns.
• Lead sales support activities such as quotes, sampling, and customer service.
• Negotiate special pricing and conditions to improve profitability.
• Manage customer support to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline.
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in Sales, Engineering, or Business Development in a technical environment.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in German, Italian, or Spanish is preferred.
