Role Description
Manheim, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently hiring a Senior Manager, Client Solutions to join our team in the Los Angeles, California area. The Senior Manager Client Solutions is responsible for leading a Sales team focused on producing revenue growth through an end-to-end sales strategy and selling all Inventory Solutions services to new and existing clients.

Provide leadership for a Sales team composed of Senior Client Solutions Executives.

Manage and grow existing accounts, as well as identify and develop new accounts across all Inventory Solutions opportunities.

Implement sales-based strategies for business development.

Monitor results and partner with all Inventory Solutions business units and Manheim operating locations.

Work effectively with sales effectiveness team and key Cox Automotive business partners.
What You’ll Do:

Partner with Client Solutions Senior Director to develop and implement a plan to grow revenue and market share.

Execute upon sales growth and retention plan for assigned team/accounts.

Lead sales team through communication of performance expectations.

Provide direct support to sales staff through participation in sales calls or other related activities.

Coach sales staff to enhance their effectiveness and hold them accountable for results.

Obtain market intelligence and tools needed to support development of business for clients and Inventory Solutions.

Manage and lead new and experienced Client Solutions team.

Recruit, hire, and develop Sales team.
-
Work closely with multiple levels within automotive dealerships and associations.

Work directly with management team, product, IT, Sales Effectiveness, and customer care professionals.

Sell through all Inventory Solutions channels and support all Cox Automotive groups.

Utilize CRM tool daily to monitor sales results and ensure compliance.
-
Implement promotions and/or special incentives as needed to drive desired business results.

Implement rate negotiation and volume plans as authorized.

Build strong lasting relationships with clients and leadership at operating locations.

Manage day-to-day service issues through appropriate Manheim product channels.

Train and encourage utilization of all Manheim products and services.

Embrace World-Class Sales Organization and strategy to continue growth and maximize efficiencies.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of progressive experience in sales and service.

At least 3 years’ experience in a management/leadership role with a proven track record of success.

Experience in developing new business from prospects as well as existing customer base.

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required.

Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment.

Understanding of the retail/wholesale marketplace in an operational context.

Ability to use Internet and MS Office effectively with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.

Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a matrixed organization.

Proven track record of growing accounts from existing base.
Requirements

25-50% travel within CA/Las Vegas.
