Role Description
The Senior Director, Pricing & Contracting is responsible for developing and leading the U.S. pricing and contracting strategy to support optimal market access, reimbursement, and financial performance for Zenas BioPharmaโs portfolio.

Develop contracting strategies with national/regional payer organizations, PBMs, and government payer segments.

Lead the development of pricing strategy, gross-to-net modeling, and payer contracting strategies.

Establish launch pricing strategy and oversee ongoing pricing governance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Market Access, Legal, Compliance, Medical Affairs, and Commercial leadership.

Shape pricing and contracting strategy in preparation for upcoming product launches.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of U.S. pricing strategy, including launch price recommendations and lifecycle pricing management.

Develop and manage gross-to-net (GTN) models that support financial forecasting, access strategy decisions, and pricing scenario planning.

Design and implement payer contracting strategies, including rebate structures and contracting frameworks.

Partner with the Payer Strategy team to support contract negotiations.

Lead financial modeling and pricing scenario analyses.

Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure accurate pricing assumptions and GTN forecasts.

Monitor competitive pricing dynamics and payer contracting trends.

Support the development of pricing governance processes.

Provide strategic pricing insights to support launch planning and long-term market access objectives.

Provide strategic oversight of government pricing considerations.

Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Finance teams.

Support the evaluation of pricing and contracting strategies across different payer segments.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

At least 7+ years in Pricing, Contracting, Market Access, or Managed Markets roles.

Demonstrated experience developing U.S. pricing strategy.

Proven experience developing and managing gross-to-net (GTN) models.

Experience designing and implementing payer contracting strategies.

Strong understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical pricing dynamics.

Experience evaluating government pricing implications.

Experience supporting product launches or late-stage pipeline assets strongly preferred.

Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Experience supporting pricing governance processes preferred.

Bachelorโs degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative biotech environment.
