[Hiring] SBA Manager Sales Support @First Citizens Bank

Role Description

This is a remote role that may be hired in North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, or Utah. The SBA Manager Sales Support supports SBA Bank products and services through the execution of daily sales support activities while providing leadership and guidance to a team of Sales Support Specialists. This role operates at an advanced level of service and lending expertise, reviewing financial information and participating in client support activities to identify sales opportunities and facilitate the sales process.

• Evaluate SBA eligibility and credit-related information.
• Prepare and review loan documentation.
• Resolve complex client and account servicing issues.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an individual pipeline of loan opportunities.
• Oversee workflow coordination, quality control, and service delivery across the team.
• Provide coaching, training, and day-to-day guidance to team members.
• Partner with leadership to achieve departmental goals and performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Bank Lending or Underwriting, Operations or Sales.
• Knowledge of SBA SOPs, program eligibility, credit criteria, and loan structure requirements.
• Knowledge of financial accounting theory and logic.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs – Excel, Word, OneNote, and Outlook.
• Proficient with software programs (BOSS, RIMS, Cognos), applications, and applicable banking systems.
• Loan documentation experience – understanding required documentation depending on program type, loan structure, etc.
• Experience interacting directly with clients, lenders, and referral partners.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, including delivering training and supporting performance improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and serve as a subject matter expert within a team environment.
• Small Business Administration experience.
• Financial Analysis experience.
• Commercial underwriting.
• Commercial cashflow experience.
