[Hiring] Sales Territory Manager - Mass Spectrometry @Danaher Corporation

Role Description

The Mass Spectrometry Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the sale of SCIEX Mass Spectrometry (MS) products within a designated territory, driving revenue and order growth by:

• Following up on existing customers
• New customer acquisitions
• Cross-selling to existing customers
• Competitive conversions
• Working with distribution channels for increased sales

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales
• Be the subject matter authority in understanding analytical workflows (LC/MS/MS, chromatography)
• Provide Mass Spectrometry sales expertise regarding market, applications, and competition
• Use sales tools and CRM to manage funnel and achieve business results
• Understand our product portfolio and explain technical products and service information
• Communicate our value proposition to customers based on their needs and interests
• Work in a team selling environment to navigate complex sales situations across multiple functions
• Use standard account planning tools to guide own work and solve routine sales problems
• Continuously grow prospects and funnel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or similar subject area
• Current experience in direct scientific capital equipment sales is highly desired
• 3+ years sales experience preferred

Requirements

• Must live within or reasonable distance to assigned territory with ability to travel within territory and work remotely from home
• Ability to travel – up to 50% travel within territory, with occasional overnight travel
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

The Salary Range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000, with total compensation target of $180,000 - $200,000 annually.
