Role Description
At Alera Group, our Employee Benefits team helps organizations attract, retain, and support their employees through innovative benefits solutions. As a Temporary - Sales Support, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate the complexities of employee benefits.
Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to agency staff and assist with special projects as needed

Receive incoming telephone calls and visitors while delivering professional customer service

Process incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, certified mail requests, and office correspondence

Monitor and distribute incoming emails, faxes, and voicemails according to established procedures

Prepare binders, reports, presentations, and other business documents as requested

Scan, organize, and maintain policy documents and agency records within company systems
-
Manage office supply inventory and coordinate ordering of office and kitchen supplies

Assist with meeting preparation, office events, administrative procedures, and operational support activities
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 2 to 4 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to grammar and detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Professional demeanor with a strong customer service focus

Ability to operate standard office equipment including printers, copiers, scanners, and telephone systems

Strong organizational, proofreading, and document management skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an insurance agency, brokerage, or financial services environment

Familiarity with agency management systems such as Applied Epic or similar platforms

Experience processing insurance-related documentation and client records

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Experience coordinating office events, meetings, and administrative projects

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

Experience training or assisting new team members on administrative processes
