Role Description
This is a full-time, remote contractor role on a Pacific Time (PST) schedule, with room to grow and a supportive team behind you.
As our Sales Specialist, you'll be the first voice many prospective patients hear. You'll connect with warm leads who have already expressed interest, help them understand our program, answer their questions about eligibility and cost, and convert that interest into a scheduled appointment. It's a consultative, phone-based sales role in a healthcare setting β equal parts persuasion and genuine care.
What You'll Do

Outbound Lead Engagement β the core of the role

Make outbound sales calls and follow-ups to prospective patients who have expressed interest in Shapely.

Educate leads on our program, our physician-led model, and how GLP-1/GIP weight loss medications work.

Explain insurance eligibility basics and general coverage considerations to set accurate expectations.

Guide interested leads through enrollment and schedule their initial appointment.

Pipeline & Conversion Management

Manage your pipeline of leads in the CRM, tracking follow-ups and conversion status.

Meet or exceed targets for outbound calls, conversions, and scheduled appointments.

Re-engage warm leads who haven't yet enrolled to answer outstanding questions and move them forward.

Cross-Team Coordination

Partner with our Prior Authorization and Concierge teams to ensure a smooth handoff once a patient enrolls.

Relay common objections, questions, and friction points to leadership to help refine our messaging and process.
Qualifications

Advanced, fluent English β spoken and written.

Proven experience in sales, telesales, or outbound calling, with a track record of meeting or exceeding conversion targets.

A persuasive, consultative communication style that builds trust quickly over the phone.

Comfortable explaining insurance eligibility and medication coverage basics.

Resilient and self-motivated when working through a high-volume outbound pipeline.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a friendly, empathetic, customer-first approach.

A reliable remote setup: stable high-speed internet and a quiet, private space for calls.

Able to work full-time on Pacific Time (PST).
Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare or telehealth environment, or a similar patient-facing role.

Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and patient privacy (training also provided).

Experience with Zoom Phone, CRM platforms, or EHR systems (training also provided).
